One of the biggest misconception in this country
about coffee is that many people believe Mocha Java coffee is a chocolaty drink. (Including my 17 years old daughter who is a frequent customer to Starbucks!)
In fact, there is no chocolate in the Mocha or Java bean. Mocha is the name of the largest port in Yemen (actually it is spelled Mokha) and this port is very important because here is where the majority of the African coffee beans are traded and transported. Java is the name of an island in Indonesia where the bean comes from.
Both coffees are a dark bean and provide a very rich and bold coffee and when you mix the two, you get Mocha Java Coffee.
